Dinner Meal Preparation

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

How many times at the end of the day do you ask yourself, “What’s for dinner?”

Do you have such a demanding schedule that you simply
don't have time to plan your dinner menu, shop for the food items you need, and prepare you dinner each day?

Do you have a
busy family that seems to be going in all different directions at one time with everyone coming and going with different schedules?

Tired of late-night
fast food and take-out orders?

Do you want a
healthier alternative for dinner?

Do you have
special dietary needs?  Heart-healthy and diabetic-friendly cooking (low-sodium, low-fat, low-cholesterol, and portion control) have become familiar to me because of my own personal needs.  I also have recipes for Weight-Watchers, and the South Beach Diet

What about coming home from vacation or an extended business trip?  What are the three main things you have to catch up on very quickly - the laundry, the mail, and food.  I can help you with the food part (sorry, you're on your own with the mail and the laundry).

SOLUTION!

Dinners Your Way can help.  I provide:

     · Personalized meal planning;
     · Shopping for the menu; and,
     · Preparation of multiple dinner meals in your home.

The first step is an
in-home interview.  This give us the chance to get to know each other a bit.  I will particularly be interested in your food preferences, as well as the layout, size, and provisions of your kitchen.  I'll bring all of the utensils I need, but it's good to know a bit about your kitchen first.

Once I know your food preferences, I'll prepare a suggested menu for
your review and approval.  Each meal on the menu will include one entree and one side dish.  Once you approve the menu, we'll set a cook date, and arrange for me to have access to your kitchen on that date.

On the morning of the cook date, I'll do the grocery shopping for the food items for the menu you approved.  I use
fresh food ingredients to the greatest extent possible while balancing taste, dietary needs, and cost.

Through the course of rest of the day (about 6 hours +/-), I'll prepare the meals
in your kitchen (imagine the cooking aromas when you come home).

The meals are packaged, labeled, and stored in your refrigerator or freezer.  You can reheat these meals when you need them.  Most often, you can have a fresh, healthy meal on the table in
about 30 minutes.  Will this help you get the family back to the dinner table?  Would this relieve the worry of what to have for dinner upon returning from vacation or an extended business trip?

You can
save time associated with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation – for most people, that can be almost 15 hours per week.  How will you spend that extra time?  Extra time with your family?  Special time with your spouse or partner?  Catch up on a hobby?  Simply wind down from a demanding schedule?  You choose.  It's YOUR time to spend the way YOU want to.

COST

The following is a list of general costs for three various levels of service.  Prices include the cost of food and containers.

                                                       3 x 2 = $285
(3 different meals, 2 servings each, 6 total meals)

                                                       5 x 2 = $355
(5 different meals, 2 servings each, 10 total meals)

                                                       5 x 4 = $395
(5 different meals, 4 servings each, 20 total meals)

These costs presume a reasonable variety of meals and moderately priced food items.  An excess of higher priced food items will result in an overall increase in costs.

The cost per meal, based on the total number of meals, generally decreases when the total number of meals increases.  It's just more cost effective to prepare a larger number of servings than a lesser number.  I also charge a container fee of $15 per cook date.  This presumes "family style" packaging of the meal items.  If you want the meals to be packaged per serving, a greater container fee will be necessary.  The container fee will be waived if you provide the containers.

TESTIMONIALS

The beef stew and the lasagna were great.  We'd love for you to cook for us again.
Carla E., Plymouth Meeting, PA

I no longer worry about "what's for dinner".
Beth F., Lindenwold, NJ

The food was great, and the convenience of the service is exactly what I need. The Fish Fillet Florentine was awesome.
Bill F., Deptford, NJ

We loved your food.  The Macaroni and Cheese Italiano was just like the way my grandmother used to make it.  The Cheeseburger Meatloaf was awesome.  And it was such a great help when you cooked for us when Aly was born.  Meals were just one less thing my husband and I had to worry about.  We could just heat, eat, and go.
Sue E., Berlin, NJ

My husband and I enjoyed your service and the food you prepared for us.  My recovery has progressed, and I now can get around better to prepare our meals.  Thanks so much for your helpfulness.
Ed A., Merchantville, NJ
